This dependence on road transport faces risks such as traffic congestion, accidents, and significantly reduces international competitiveness. Meanwhile, other transport channels such as railways and waterways have not been fully utilized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">For many years, several large investors have been studying the idea of a dedicated railway line for container transport, connecting the industrial zones of B\u00ecnh D\u01b0\u01a1ng directly to the ports in B\u00e0 R\u1ecba &#8211; V\u0169ng T\u00e0u, \u0110\u1ed3ng Nai, and Ho Chi Minh City. This idea aligns with the detailed railway planning for the Ho Chi Minh City transportation hub that has been issued.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Accordingly, B\u00ecnh D\u01b0\u01a1ng has been studying and proposing to implement some sections of these railway lines with a total length of over 100 km. Three major logistics centers along this dedicated railway route have been planned in B\u00ecnh D\u01b0\u01a1ng, which will serve as hubs for receiving and distributing goods and raw materials to neighboring industrial zones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">When this dedicated railway line is operational, businesses will benefit greatly in terms of convenience for transporting goods and reducing delivery time pressures with their partners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">According to estimates, transporting a container from B\u00ecnh D\u01b0\u01a1ng to the port in B\u00e0 R\u1ecba &#8211; V\u0169ng T\u00e0u by road currently takes at least 8-10 hours. Notably, B\u00ecnh D\u01b0\u01a1ng and Ho Chi Minh City share the Saigon River, and currently, there are An S\u01a1n ports (Thu\u1eadn An City) on the upstream side of B\u00ecnh D\u01b0\u01a1ng, with plans for the An T\u00e2y port (B\u1ebfn C\u00e1t City). For large container ships to access these ports, it is necessary to raise the clearance of bridges crossing the Saigon River.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Recently, the two B\u00ecnh Tri\u1ec7u 1 bridges on National Route 13 (with a 1.25m height increase) and B\u00ecnh Ph\u01b0\u1edbc 1 bridge on National Route 1 (with a height increase of about 1.08m) were launched by Ho Chi Minh City, with completion expected in 2025.
